On this 4th of July, celebrate our many freedoms with a great book!
We see extraterrestrials visiting our planet at the Intergalactic Bed and Breakfast in the Bluebonnet nominee called Aliens on Vacation by Clete Barrett Smith. When David, aka Scrub, is sent to his visit his grandmother for the summer he is none too happy. We are feeling his pain when we learn he has left all his friends in Florida to spend several months at his grandmother's bed and breakfast. Scrub has to juggle helping his grandmother run the hotel, staying on the good side of the local sheriff, and impressing the only person in town he really likes, a girl. Did we mention the extraterrestrial guests and Scrub's efforts to "dress" them like the locals? Have fun with this book!
